A note from Marion Creekmore, director of the Halle Institute and vice provost for
International Affairs:

Due to unforeseen developments at the United Nations, we must reschedule the panel
discussion involving Professor Rajmohan Gandhi and Ambassador Andrew Young,
originally planned for Tuesday, January 25, at 5:30 p.m. Ambassador Young must
attend a recently announced January 25 meeting in New York called by the president
of the United Nations Security Council involving a number of presidents from
African countries.

The new date and time for the Gandhi-Young panel discussion, "Can Non-violent
Confrontation Work?" will be Monday, February 7 at 5 p.m. at Glenn Memorial
Auditorium, 1652 North Decatur Road. Parking is available at Fishburne parking
deck behind the auditorium.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this change may cause you. We hope you will
be able to join us for this exciting program at the new time and date.

All other events involving Professor Rajmohan Gandhi will occur at their announced times.
