What's New

The Emory Publications Office is studying the possibility of creating a new incarnation: an office that would undertake those jobs that fall outside the purview of the current Publications Office, whose primary mission is in the areas of recruitment, alumni relations, and fund-raising. Not subject to the workmanlike dictates of a typical university publications office, the new office would create high-end publications for projects with more ample budgets. Recent examples of such work include the exhibition catalogs produced by University Publications for God's Trombones and for Word and Image (the Beckett project).

Faculty who anticipate the need for such projects should contact Susan Carini, director of University Publications, to discuss their needs. She may be reached at 7-7816 or scarini@publications.emory.edu.
