During the first week of April, the Rev. Dr. John Polkinghorne will join several events at Emory.
Background:
Trained in mathematical physics, Dr. Polkinghorne has served as president of Queen's College, Cambridge University, and as a Fellow of the Royal Society. In 1983, he resigned his chair at Cambidge to enter the Anglican priesthood. Since then, he has published books on science and religion, including The Way the World Is, Science and Creation, and Belief in God in an Age of Science.
