Resources
for PhD.s Seeking Non-academic Careers
As more Ph.D.s seek non-academic
employment, a variety of resources are springing up to support
them. Many career counselors also recommend that people changing
careers talk about their interests with their larger network of
friends and colleagues, who may be able to provide contacts and
information. Some of the resouces listed below are taken from
the Chronicle
of Higher Education, which also advertises some non-academic
positions and features a regular column, "Beyond the Ivory Tower,"
on their website.
