Note: To arrange your visit to the campus, you will need an Emory Network ID and password. (The Network ID is comprised of letters from your first and last name). These will allow you to login to OPUS, Emory's online student information system. If you do not already have your Network ID and password - you can access the information here.

ARRANGE YOUR OPEN HOUSE VISIT

While students attend classes in the morning, parents are invited to participate in question-and-answer sessions with staff and faculty. Topics include professional advising, transition to college, campus life, among others. The afternoon offers a student-guided tour and the opportunity to talk with current students. If you’re unable to attend an Open House, Day Visits are encouraged.

Once you have a Network ID and password, login to OPUS

  1. Select "Admissions" from the menu. Bottom left of your screen.
  2. Select "Senior Hosting"
  3. Select the date you wish to visit.

If you have questions, you may call 800-727-6036 or write admiss@emory.edu.

Due to space limitations, only regular decision, accepted students may register for an open house visit. You may chose to visit Emory one of the following dates:

Monday, April 13
Friday, April 17
Monday, April 20
Friday, April 24

Click here to view the day's schedule.

Because space is limited for these programs, do not make any flight arrangements until you have confirmed your open house visit.

You must provide your own transportation to and from the campus.  A metered cab ride one-way from the airport to campus generally costs $40 and takes approximately 25-30 minutes. You may also take MARTA, Atlanta's public transportation. Transportation info

The same Network ID and password may also be used for Connect 2013 / Learnlink, Emory's intranet community; Learnlink provides numerous resources for prospective and current students including the opportunity to connect and chat with your future classmates.

ARRANGE YOUR DAY VISIT

Spend the morning in any available classes that interest you (students only please), and enjoy the chance to meet current students and talk with professors. In the afternoon, take a student-guided campus tour followed by a panel discussion with current students who will answer any questions you have. If you’re unable to attend an Open House, Day Visits are encouraged.

First Time April Visitation Stipend

Emory University now provides travel assistance for a limited number of Regular Decision admitted students who meet specific guidelines and wish to visit campus for the first time in the month of April. Students who have completed their Financial Aid application requirements by April 1, 2009 will be reviewed individually for this exciting opportunity. A student’s travel reimbursement will be determined solely by the need demonstrated in his / her financial aid application. Please note that these reimbursement funds are available in limited amounts for those who qualify on a first come, first served basis.

Please provide the student’s full name and home address to Erik Lips at erik.lips@emory.edu. We will partner with the Office of Financial Aid to review each inquiry for reimbursement eligibility, and we will respond accordingly.
