HIGHER EDUCATION

Atlanta is home to forty-five universities, colleges, and institutions of higher learning. The metro area has the nation’s third largest per capita college student enrollment and ranks sixth for the total number of students attending degree-granting institutions.

Emory is a member of the Atlanta Regional Consortium for Higher Education (ARCHE), an organization made up of twenty Atlanta-area colleges and universities. Our students may cross-enroll at these sister institutions at no additional cost to them beyond their Emory tuition.
