Hotels in Downtown and Fairlie Poplar

seven miles from campus, central business district, athletic venues, Centennial Olympic Park, CNN Center,World of Coca-Cola

Downtown is Atlanta’s central business district. The primary criticism of the area is that it is often deserted after the work day ends. In the evenings expect to find more visitors to the city than locals. Popular Downtown attractions like those mentioned below, restaurants, professional athletic venues, and the World of Coke still make the area an attractive option. Sports fans can check out the Braves, Falcons, Hawks, or Thrashers. On weekend nights during the summer, there are often concerts or other events in Centennial Olympic Park or other downtown locations.
