Michael C. Carlos Museum
Located on the Emory University quadrangle, the building was designed
by Michael Graves and contains a noted collection of Egyptian, Near Eastern,
Classical, and American antiquities as well as art from Asia and sub-Saharan
Africa.

High Museum of Art
The High Museum of Art, Atlantas museum of fine arts, is part of
the Woodruff Arts Center.
Margaret Mitchell House
One may visit Mitchells home were she penned Gone With the Wind
and learn more about the woman who, for many, defined the South.
Martin Luther King Jr. Center,
Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical
Site, and Sweet Auburn
A memorial to Dr. King and his work, the King Center is the hub of a historic
district encompassing his birthplace, tomb, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and
the homes and shops of Sweet Auburn, once one of Americas most vital
black cultural and business districts.
Museum of Contemporary Art
of Georgia
The museum houses more than 250 works of contemporary visual art by Georgia
artists.
Oakland Cemetery
Since 1850, Oakland has been the final resting place for many of Atlantas
more famous citizens including thousands of Civil War soldiers, Margaret
Mitchell, and Bobby Jones. Its as much a museum and sculpture gallery
as it is a cemetery.
William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum
