Michael C. Carlos Museum 
Located on the Emory University quadrangle, the building was designed by Michael Graves and contains a noted collection of Egyptian, Near Eastern, Classical, and American antiquities as well as art from Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

The Schatten Gallery 
Located in Emory’s Robert W. Woodruff Library, the gallery’s exhibitions support and complement educational themes on campus.

Carter Center of Emory University and Jimmy Carter Library 
View an eclectic array of art, along with mementos from the Carter White House.

Atlanta Contemporary Art Center 
A multidisciplinary arts center featuring local, regional, national, and international artists.

Atlanta History Center and Swan House 
The house, grounds, and museum highlight the people and events in Atlanta’s fascinating history.

Centennial Olympic Park 
Created for the 1996 games, today the park hosts concerts and festivals.

CNN Center 
Tour the studios of CNN, Headline News, and CNN International.

Cyclorama 
The Cyclorama is home to the world’s largest painting, “The Battle of Atlanta.” The Civil War battle is relived daily with the help of spectacular music, art, and sound effects.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History 
Interactive exhibits show Earth’s development, learning stations demonstrate the properties of light and sound, and an IMAX theater provides the most powerful film experience possible.

High Museum of Art 
The High Museum of Art, Atlanta’s museum of fine arts, is part of the Woodruff Arts Center.

Margaret Mitchell House 
One may visit Mitchell’s home were she penned Gone With the Wind and learn more about the woman who, for many, defined the South.

Martin Luther King Jr. Center, Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Site, and Sweet Auburn 
A memorial to Dr. King and his work, the King Center is the hub of a historic district encompassing his birthplace, tomb, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the homes and shops of Sweet Auburn, once one of America’s most vital black cultural and business districts.

Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia 
The museum houses more than 250 works of contemporary visual art by Georgia artists.

Oakland Cemetery 
Since 1850, Oakland has been the final resting place for many of Atlanta’s more famous citizens including thousands of Civil War soldiers, Margaret Mitchell, and Bobby Jones. It’s as much a museum and sculpture gallery as it is a cemetery.

William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum 
Encounter the Holocaust through the story of the Jews of Europe, experience special exhibitions, and interact with hands-on materials for all ages.

World of Coca-Cola 
Yes, it’s one huge Coke advertisement, but this is Atlanta; we love the stuff. See all sorts of Coca-Cola-ana, and when you finish the tour, you may drink all the Coca-Cola beverages you can stand.

Zoo Atlanta 
Zoo Atlanta is the city’s world-class animal park. It’s home to Atlanta’s famous gorillas and our most celebrated recent arrivals—two giant pandas.
