MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE RESOURCES

Emory recently completed work on the second of two new state-of-the-art science facilities. The Mathematics and Science Center houses the departments of physics, mathematics and computer science, and environmental studies. This five-floor facility, which is 25 percent lab space, features a planetarium and observatory with a twenty-four-inch telescope. Across the street, Emerson Hall houses chemistry labs, the Emerson Center for Scientific Computing, a nuclear magnetic resonance lab, and the integrated microscopy and microanalytical facility.
