Schedule a Visit

There is no substitute for experiencing Emory firsthand. Visit our campus; meet current students; sit in on a class or two; eat lunch on the terraces of the Dobbs University Center; see what it's like being a student here for a day.

Visiting is one way that you may demonstrate a solid interest in attending Emory, and this will be noted in your application file. We understand that some students will not have the time or the resources to visit our campus. We invite you to learn more about Emory when we visit your city, or we encourage you to explore Emory by requesting our Video Visit or DVD.

If you are able to visit Atlanta, you may tour our campus and attend an Emory Focus, a group information session, which includes an admission presentation and question/answer time with a member of the Admission Committee. The Office of Admission is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. EST each Monday through Friday except for major holidays and for a winter break in late December. Tours and information sessions are usually available each weekday and selected Saturdays during the academic year.

We recommend that you arrange your visit at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability, as session schedules do fluctuate and space is sometimes limited. Please schedule your admission appointment before you make any flight arrangements.

If you cannot visit Emory at a time when we have tours and information sessions available, we invite you to print our self-guided walking tour and look around campus on your own.

Please note that while personal attention to our visitors is our top priority, Emory is not able to provide admission interviews on our campus or in your local area.
