Application Servers

The MiPhone's application servers provide the add-valued services to MiPhone subscribers. The MiPhone's application servers adopted the standard J2EE architecture. It's very easy to extend the system's functions through SIP servlet and HTTP/XML. The J2EE's distributed architecture guarantees the application servers' high scalability and high availability. The application servers now consist of followings:
  • Conference Control Server
  • Media Server (Audio Mixer, Audio Transcode, Video Relay)
  • Groups Server (10-persons P2P audio/video multichat, hundreds of persons audio/video groupchat)
  • Web Services Distributed System
  • Sales and Distributors Billing Management System
