Paul Choi-Queer Students of Color Group Facilitator
I am a senior at the college majoring in N.B.B. and American Studies. While I am "pre-med," I am in no rush to set foot into medical school. I am currently trying to realize the most effective way in which I can utilize my interest in health to help bring about social justice for the LGBT community.
I am very excited to co-facilitate the Queer Students of Color Discussion Group this year. I hope to help empower and build community with fellow queer students of color. I am enjoying my last year in college and am planning to take a year off after graduation to work in some aspect of health advocacy. |

Raphael Coleman-Queer Students of Faith Group Facilitator
I am a Co-facilitator for the Queer InterFaith Discussion Group. I am an alumnus of Emory College and hold a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. I have served in several capacities for the University as a student and as an alum. I worked for the Office of LGBT Life as a student staff member during my senior year in the college. Over the past year I served as Residence Hall Director Fellow for the Office of Health Promotion at Emory Student Health and Counseling Services. I have a strong interest in studying the socio-contextual determinants of health and conducting prevention science research to further understand and minimize health disparities. I am now studying at the Rollins School of Public Health in the Behavioral Science and Health Education Program to earn my MPH. My future goal is to continue my studies in a PhD program and ultimately work professionally as a prevention scientist and/or professor.
I am thrilled to serve as a facilitator this year with hopes of better understanding the intersections between sexual identity and faith, and the challenges of reconciliation. |

Meghan Jordan-Queer Women's Group Facilitator
I am a sophomore in the college. I am double majoring in Computer Science and Music. I am a true activist and am involved with Students and Workers in Solidarity and am currently in the process of creating a general activism organization at Emory. I love Emory and am extremely involved in multiple organizations on campus. In my free time you will most likely find me listening to music or reading a good book. |

Shu Wen Ong-Queer Students of Color Group Facilitator
I am Singaporean, and an English and Psychology major. This is my first time being a facilitator of this discussion group and I look forward to learning more this coming year - I hope that our members will too! I believe that our different identities do not and cannot exist in isolation. As such, I aim to create a space for celebrating and examining all that makes us unique, without having to compartmentalise our identities. |
