LGBAnnounce:LGBAnnounce is an Internet-based email list devoted to announcements of events of interest to LGBT people and their allies. Subscribe to this list and join hundreds of other subscribers with similar interests. Any announcements posted to LGBAnnounce will be forwarded to subscribers of the discussion oriented EmoryGLB as well. So, if you join EmoryGLB, you do NOT need to join LGBAnnounce as well. Further, LGBAnnounce is not open to free discussion. Please subscribe to EmoryGLB if that is what you want.This mailing list is officially sponsored by the Office of Lesbian / Gay / Bisexual Transgender Life. The list also hopes to support Emory Pride and other associated groups on campus but is not responsible to them.

The LGBAnnounce listserv is anonymous, except to the administrator (who will divulge no names), as long as you do not send any messages to the group. If you send messages, your name and email address will be attached. However, ONLY members of the list will see your name, so there is some confidentiality for those newly out. The LGBAnnounce list is moderated and can arrive daily in digest format. For information on Listserv options, please go to the Emory Listserv homepage.
