Summit on Race for Higher Education Professionals

The Emory Student Affairs Institute is offering a facilitated discussion for higher edcuation professionals to discuss race, privilege, social justice, and current campus climates across the country. The discussion will revolve around themes identified by participants. This day-long summit will include idea generation and development of action plans for each attendee to return to their campus, ready to build a stronger, more unified, and culturally humble community of care and compassion.

Cost

The cost is $50 per attendee for a day of facilitated dialog with breakfast, lunch, and a snack break. The optional visit to the Center for Civil and Human Rights is an additional $38.50.

The Summit will be held on February 5, 2016 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia; sessions will take place in Winship Ballroom, located on the 3rd floor of the Dobbs University Center.
