Tips & Tricks - Remedy/ManageIT support requests - Don’t trash it… treasure it!

Many have wondered… How do I check my ticket status?  How do I add information to my request?  How do I…  The answer is simple.  E-mail!  When you submit a support request, you receive a confirmation e-mail.  DON’T DELETE IT!  SAVE IT!  You can use it to check your ticket status (via a web link), add info to your ticket, and communicate with the technician assigned to your ticket.  So, the next time you get the comfirmation email, don’t trash it… treasure it!

Requesting support is now as easy as “clicking send”

Have you ever needed help?  Is help.emory.edu confusing?  Fear no more!  You can now request support by sending an e-mail!  THAT”S RIGHT!  E-mail!  Just send an e-mail to clts@emory.edu.  Include as much detail as possible in the body of the e-mail and “click send”.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail back that asks you to click on a link to validate your request.  (This is so we don’t get spammed.)  Once you confirm your request a ticket is created and CLTS is alerted.  Its that easy!  So, please do not hesitate to let us know when you need help.  We’re just a click away!
