Passwords
As an Emory University Staff personnel you have passwords in several places:
- WINDOWS PASSWORD As a CampusLife Division staff employee you have a Windows password which is housed on our server to log in to your Windows workstation.
- PEOPLESOFT PASSWORD As an Emory University Employee you have a NetID provided by AAIT which is used for PeopleSoft, Emory Eagle Mail server, Emory Exchange mail server, and many others.
- MEETING MAKER PASSWORD Meeting Maker server maintains it’s own password list, so if you have an account on Meeting Maker, that password can be different than all others.
Emory University NET ID passwords are for the following applications:
PeopleSoft
Eagle Email
Exchange Email
OPUS
EmoryUnivAD Domain
The Emory University NET ID password is held on multiple servers, at times the differnt servers can be out of sync, which means you can have different passwords on each server. In order to resolve this problem follow the instructions at https://password.service.emory.edu to sync your passwords together.
A new employee is set up by AAIT via a PeopleSoft download, to check to see if your NET ID and Passord are available follow the instructions at https://www.app.emory.edu/acm/getpassword.cfmto see if you are set up in the system.
