GROUPS WE ADVISE
Mentoring students and recognizing excellence in students is one of the strategic priorities of our office so serving as an advisor to student organizations is a natural extension of that priority.

BLAST
Welcome to BLAST!!!
BLAST stands for Believing Leading and Achieving in Student Theater. Their purpose is to introduce inner-city school students to visual and performing arts through theater. BLAST meet with children from the Warren/Holyfield Boys and Girls Club in Atlanta and help them produce a show each spring. BLAST meets with them about three times a week.
This year we are putting on a production called "Wooing Wed Widing Hood," which is a doo-wop musical based on the fairy-tale of LIttle Red Riding Hood. On behalf of the exec board, I would like to tell you that we are so excited that you want to be involved. We will be having a meeting during this upcoming week, so make sure to check back to the conference for details on when and where that will be. For more information, contact Jordan Flowers, President of BLAST.
Martin Luther King Scholars
The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding students from the Atlanta Public Schools whose qualities of mind and spirit promise outstanding contributions to society. Scholarships are in the amount of full tuition and fees, University room and board, and any additional need, as demonstrated by the College Scholarship Service PROFILE.
