Cynthia Shaw (Director)
Cynthia A. Shaw has been the Director of the Office of Student Development and Volunteer Services since Fall, 1980 She began her career in higher education as an Assistant Dean of Students at Middlebury College, in Middlebury, Vermont. A native midwesterner, she received her undergraduate degree in Journalism from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and her Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Clark/Atlanta, University.

Linda Marson (Office Manager)
Linda Marson has been in the Division of Campus Life beginning in 1991 and has been the Office Manager for Student Development since May of 2000.

Melody Porter (Volunteer Emory)
Melody Porter has been Director of Volunteer Emory since Summer 2005. She has been a long-term volunteer in Philadelphia and Johannesburg, South Africa, and also has served as an Associate Minister at First United Methodist Church of Germantown in Philadelphia. She graduated from Emory in 1995 with a double major in Religion and Political Science, and received her Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology in 2001.
