What kinds of things are you involved with on campus?

Currently, I’m a member of BlackStar Magazine and have been since my freshman year. Planning events, involving the arts, has been one of my passions. I am now the Director of External Affairs for BSA for the 2013-14 school year and the VP of Publicity for the China-Tibet Initiative. I’m also thinking about running an arts initiative on campus and in the process of creating a world-domination club.

Describe yourself in 140 characters or less.

Creative catalyst. Trapper
. Profesional BHAG-er (Big Hairy Audacious Goals). Kanye West’s African cousin.

If you were to use a hashtag to describe your life, what would it be and why?

#Birdmanhandrub … I’m always scheming.

If you could follow any historical figure on Twitter, who would it be and why?

Malcolm X. because he was one of the few historical figures that isn’t depicted as perfect. He matured in front of a nation in such a short period of time. He is a leader that made mistakes, but learned from them.

Favorite place on campus?

Turman Hall Room 404 … this is the room that I lived in Freshman year. Too many crazy things have happened in there, plus it shares Atlanta’s area code.

To the current residents of Turman 404: I’m coming back to get my room.

Why Emory?

Emory is prestigious, highly-ranked, doctors blah blah blah … it is the weirdest school in Georgia. It’s in Atlanta, but metaphorically it isn’t. I found this intriguing. I also believe that Emory has so much to offer. There are so many people to connect with here and that gives the unlimited potential to anyone that decides to go here.

Fun Fact about yourself?

Nah. I've already told you too much.
