The Conference Assistant is an entry-level position open
to all current Emory students and staff. This position is
responsible
for daily conference operations, including administrative
work, building preparation, and check-ins and check-outs.
Additionally, each Conference Assistant is assigned as the
liaison
to two, three or four conferences, thus arranging the necessary
elements for the group’s stay. No previous experience is
required, but we do seek motivated, responsible applicants
who have
the capacity to learn and adapt quickly.
The selected applicants will receive a stipend of $2,500,
a furnished private room in Alabama Hall, and meals while
the Dobbs Food Court is in session. For the summer of 2011,
we will be hiring 15-18 Conference Assistants. We will also be hiring 1-2 Conference Assistants at Clairmont Campus.
