Summary of
Qualifications
	I have been in computing for 22 years, 11 years in
	Medical Imaging. Most of my academic training is in
	Digital Signal Processing and Mechanical Engineering
	(Product Design), but still most people think of me as
	a programmer.

	I have worked on large commercial software projects and
	helped to move a clinical software application from the
	university into commercial use. When I won the "$1
	Million Java Cup" in 1996 I decided that I had better
	retire from programming.

	Now I mostly volunteer as an IT consultant for
	non-profits and government agencies. One of my primary
	tools is a very lightweight Information and Referral
	Database the I built for the United Way, MACAD, GAHSC,
	CHRC, and others. Collectively, these sites generate
	over 2,000,000 page views per year from 200,000 users.

	I am 41 years old and I have done a lot of varied
	things (a few of them listed below). I am finishing up
	a PhD program in Biostatistics at Emory. My wife and I
	have started a new child law and policy clinic here at
	Emory. I am NOT looking for any work and I no longer do
	any medical imaging work!
