Jeffrey Martin

Jeff Martin currently serves as Director of the Dobbs University Center.  He has been a member of the DUC staff since 1999 serving various roles including Meeting Services Manager, and Associate Director, Operations and Services.  He received his Masters of Science in Social Foundations of Education (Concentration: Higher Education) from Georgia State University in 2005 and his Bachelors of Arts Degree (Major: Humanities) from Florida State University in 1995.  He is very active in his professional association, ACUI (Association of College Unions International), and has served in various volunteer capacities on both the regional and international levels.  Recently, he was awarded the William E. Rion Award for staff excellence by Region 6.  Jeff is originally from Oswego, New York and currently lives in Decatur with his dog, Izzy (Isabel).  He is an avid reader and a Drum Corps enthusiast.

Andrea Lentz

Andrea Lentz is a graduate of Indiana University, and has taught in private and public schools. She joined DUC Operations in 2002, and in 2007 she moved over to Meeting Services where she was named Manager of Meeting Services. Andrea enjoys working with students as well as department personnel, and says she especially enjoys "making sense out of chaos!" She has two children; one is a current Emory College student, and one is a graduate of the Emory School of Nursing. Stop by Meeting Services to view her collection of rubber duckies.

Janell Goodwin-Farley

Janell Goodwin-Farley has a long history with the University, beginning as a Data Entry Specialist with Facilities Management in October 1989. She held two other positions while working with the department. She was promoted to Meeting Services Coordinator in October 2007 with the division of Campus Life and is presently a student at Emory University seeking a degree in Psychology.

Diane Foley

Diane Foley has been a member of the Emory community since 1989. She started as an administrative assistant in the department of Public Health which later became the Rollins School of Public Health. From March of 1998 through August of 2002 she was a Financial Analyst at the EU Hospital in the central business office. After the birth of her first son, Diane moved to a part time position in the Dobbs University Center as Business Manager. Diane currently lives in Tucker with her husband and two sons where she is active her local PTA and enjoys playing tennis.

Linda Shelling-Crawford has been an employee of Emory University since December 1984. Linda has held positions in several departments across campus. Her career at Emory began in the Human Resources Department as a Clerical Specialist in personnel. She also worked for the School of Medicine (Georgia Center for Cancer Statistics) as Secretary, where she assisted with Research Grants Proposals. Most of her years at Emory has been with Campus Life, where she served as Coordinator in Meeting Services processing Reservation Request for both Academic and DUC Spaces, and currently as the Office Manager of the Dobbs University Center.

Amber graduated from Berry College in 2007 with a degree in Communications.  She joined the Meeting Services team in September of 2008.  She enjoys people, food, music and her dog, Millie.

Ieisha Fuller

From a New York newborn to a southern raised Georgia girl, Ieisha Fuller comes to the DUC staff with a variety of experiences. She began her work experience in retail, but later had her first opportunity in administration at the State University of West Georgia in the Student Development Center. As animals were truly her passion, she went on to become a receptionist in a variety of animal clinics. Well with approximately 12 years within the industry, she traded her pets and pups for a lifelong career as the mother of two beautiful children. As she returned to work, seeking a change of pace, she joined the Internal Revenue Service as a tax examiner and contact representative. During her employment, she served as a member of the Employee Council which involved meeting with the Department manager to discuss employees' concerns.

Ieisha joined the DUC staff in May 2008. She sees it as an exciting opportunity and looks forward to the experiences that she will have while a part of the Emory community. As she has been working on her Bachelors Degree along her journey, she can truly say perseverance does pay off.
 

Vickey Hanson

Vickey joined Emory in Fall 2009 as the Operations Manger of the DUC.
Vickey’s primary focus is on building the student employee team through learning outcomes. Her extensive training experience allows her to create an environment where maximum learning occurs by encouraging discussions, application of concepts, and activities that are relevant to the DUC and to the employee’s every day life.

Vickey brings with her experience as Operations Coordinator for the 55,000 OGSF Student Center at Augusta State University and Student Life Operations Manager of the146, 000 OGSF Campbell Student Union at SUNY College at Buffalo.  It was here that she used her assessment results of the Student Union to assist the SGA in acquiring in part over $250,000 dollars to update and upgrade the Student Union facility.

In addition to her experience in Higher Education, Vickey brings over 15 years in facilities management and 10 years of Public Relation where she has designed and implemented multiple large and small events throughout Western New York

Vickey holds a Master of Science in Student Personnel Administration from Buffalo State College and a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts/Communications from Medaille College.  She is a certified Red Cross Instructor of First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator
(AED) and Blood Born Pathogens.  Finally, she is Marketing & Communication Coordinator for the Association of College Unions International (ACUI), Region 6.

She is the proud owner of a 3-year-old Blue Nose, American Pit Bull Terrier, Lance who currently resides in Augusta, GA.
