The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs (EOP) is the designated internal administrative support pillar commissioned to ensure equal opportunity, access, equity
and consistent“quality treatment,” where sustainability and inclusion are actualized
through the
development of cultural competencies and the elimination of artificial barriers across Emory’s community.
Additionally, EOP ensures that Emory complies with federal equal employment opportunity/affirmative action legislation and Emory policies. Included in this is the federal requirement that Emory provide reasonable accommodations and coordinate services for eligible employees with disabilities and/or chronic medical conditions.
