The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs (EOP) provides general and customized workshops and training on equal employment opportunity/affirmative action and diversity.
Course offerings include:
- " Human Resources Policies and Programs Administration"
Overviews the federal regulations and details supervisors' responsibilities for equal employment opportunity/affirmative action at Emory.
- "Preventing Sexual Harassment" and "Understanding Sexual Harassment"
Presented in association with the Human Resources Employee Relations and Training Department, these workshops provide specific examples and case studies of sexual harassment, federal regulations and prevention methods. Also, offered throughout the year, with appropriate follow-up programs for Emory employees and students. - "Americans with Disabilities Act: Guide to Employment"
A seminar designed by EOP and Human Resources to provide general information regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, specifically Title I employment provisions.
- "Diversity Training"
Various workshops are available through the University Human Resources Division. Topics include "Communicating Across Cultures," "Managing and Valuing Diversity," and "Discrimination Liabilities."
