Herchel H. Sheets ’52T of Snellville retired in June 1999 after fifty years as a United Methodist minister. Sheets serves as an adjunct professor at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and at the Candler School of Theology.

Clinton Hubbard Jr. ’90T of Birmingham received a doctor of ministry degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center in May 1999.

Juana Clem McGhee ’95T and Myron B. McGhee ’95T of Decatur announce the birth of a daughter, Taylor Emmaus, on Feb. 18, 1999.

Paul E. Bodamer ’97T of Columbia, S.C., was named top 1998 health-insurance provider by BB&T Corporation.

Heidi S. Geib ’98T of Antioch, Tenn., received a master of theology degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in May 1999 and began doctoral studies in New Testament at Vanderbilt University in August 1999.
