About Emory Report

Emory Report provides weekly news coverage of campus issues including concise reportage of all the major governing bodies on campus; feature coverage of campus happenings; opinion pieces from faculty, staff and students; letters to the editor; and a weekly campus calendar. It is published by the Office of University Marketing Communications, a division of the Office of Public Affairs.

Emory Report is published and distributed free to faculty and staff of Emory University, weekly during the academic year; semimonthly May-August.

The Emory Report web site was designed with several intentions: to serve as an archive for current news of the campus; to provide a convenient alternative to reading the paper for those not on campus or for those seeking a view into campus issues and news. We do not want for this site (nor do we think it can) to replace the good old-fashioned paper version of the newspaper. However, we do want it to be easy-to-use and valuable. We are constantly improving it. Let us know how we're doing!

DISTRIBUTION
Emory Report is distributed weekly during the academic year and bi-weekly during the summer months. Deadline for copy is 10 days before publication date for news items and calendar announcements. We will try to have (but can not promise that) the electronic version of the paper will be uploaded every Friday before the Monday publication date. SUBMISSIONS
Emory Report welcomes contributions from readers. Possible contributions include: Letters to the Editor; On Campus calendar items; "First Person" opinion pieces; and general news items.
