Mizell Drive
getting wider
bridge for shuttle parkway
The Shuttle Parkway South project got underway just before Christmas with
the
demolition of the Mizell Drive bridge (right) between Glenn Memorial
Church and
the Rich Building. The old bridge (bottom) will be replaced with a new
wider
bridge that will allow two-way traffic on Mizell Drive. Once bridge
replacement
is completed in late January or early February, work will shift to the
Fishburne parking deck area, where utilities will be installed for the
new
Goizueta Business School. This portion of the shuttle project should be
completed by May, when construction of the business school is scheduled
to
begin.
