Post Properties President John Glover named trustee

President of Post Properties and a 1968 graduate of Emory College John T. Glover, was named to an eight-year term as an Emory trustee during the board of trustees meeting in November, pending confirmation by the Southeastern Jurisdictional Administrative Council of the United Methodist Church.

"We are extremely pleased that John Glover accepted our invitation to join Emory's board of trustees," said President Bill Chace. "Mr. Glover will contribute a wealth of expertise to the board, in addition to the knowledge and commitment he brings as an Emory graduate."

Before joining Post Properties in 1984, Glover was a partner at the law firm of King & Spalding. He is active in several professional organizations, serving as vice chair of the National Realty Committee, a director of the National Multi-Housing Council and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Glover's community involvement includes serving as chair of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra League, vice chair of the Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center, a trustee of the Lovett School and a member of the Governing Council of The Wilderness Society. Glover also is a member of the Board of Councilors of The Carter Center.
