Dicsount tickets available to Emory employees

p> Outdoor concerts, trips to the zoo, baseball games and roller coasters are usual fare for summertime vacationers. The seasonal discount tickets offering available to faculty, staff and students through the Dobbs University Center Ticket Office make that fare much more affordable. In addition to the standard array of discount movie tickets and reduced admission to Zoo Atlanta and Biltmore Estates, the Ticket Desk is offering discounted seating for seasonal concerts at Lakewood Amphitheatre and Chastain Park as well as the ever-popular Braves' games.

Upcoming concerts include Lollapalooza on Saturday, August 5; Jimmy Buffett on Aug. 7 and 8; Reba McEntire on Aug 25; and Elton John on Sept. 1. Reserved seating is available for all concerts except for the Buffet event which has lawn seating for $26.75. The upcoming Braves' home schedule includes games on July 23, Aug. 10 and Aug. 12 and field level seats are available for $16. Discount admission for Six Flags is $21 for adults and $16.50 for children.

The Ticket Office, located on the second floor of the Dobbs Center at the information desk, can be contacted at 727-8425. Credit cards are accepted. The summer hours for the office are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
