Do you think recent violence at health clinics will affect women's choices about abortion?

Josh Taylor
Freshman
Political Science
"Yes, I think the increased violence will affect women's choices, because it will drive doctors away from dealing with that aspect of the medical profession, thus making it that much harder for a woman to have the choice and be allowed to get an abortion."

Johnny Dixon
Sophomore
English/Sociology
"I hope not. I don't think anyone has the right to push their values or judgment on someone else. If we start doing that here in America, we negate the whole concept that our country was founded on."

Martha Manar
Second-year student
School of Medicine
"I've been hearing a lot about that. I think it is frightening that people will go to such lengths when they are trying to save lives. Anyone with a true Christian, or any religious, background would agree with me. I think it is really disappointing and very frightening."

Brooks Moore
Sophomore
Biology/Creative Writing
"No, I don't. I think that the decision is hard enough as it is and that women who've made that decision and gotten that far, nothing will deter them, nor do I think anything should deter them."

John Lanterman
Fourth-year student
School of Medicine
"I would hope not, but it will have an affect. I think terroristic activities always have that effect."
