the nationals
Junior Elizabeth Adams (above) of The Woodlands, Texas, and her Emory
teammates
were one of 20 teams in the nation selected for the NCAA Division III
women's
soccer national championship. The Eagles lost in the regional semifinals
to
Methodist College (N.C.), 1-0, on a goal with 23 seconds remaining in
regulation time Nov. 4 at the P.E. Center in front of 400 fans. Emory
finished
the season with a 13-6-1 record and a No. 17 ranking in the final
regular-season poll by the Intercollegiate Soccer Association of America.
