Clean Commute Week slated May 13-17

The Parking Office in the Department of Community Services is teaming up with the Employee Assistance Program at the Wellhouse to sponsor Emory's Clean Commute Week activities.

Scheduled for May 13-17, the events not only will focus on alternative transportation methods for commuting, but also will stress the health-related aspects of cleaner commuting, such as the respiratory benefits of cleaner air resulting from fewer cars being driven to campus.

A complete schedule of Clean Commute Week activities will appear in the May 6 issue of Emory Report. Clean Commute Week information is available from the Parking Office at 727-7638 or from the Wellhouse at 727-4328.

Disability Services moving to Administration Building with EOP

Although the Office of Disability Services and Compliance (ODSC) has been a part of Equal Opportunity Programs (EOP) since the office's creation two years ago, ODSC's home has always been a modular unit behind McTyeire hall.

As of May 2, ODSC will be united geographically with EOP when they both move to a new home in the renovated north end of the Administration Building's first floor. EOP's current home is on the south end of the floor, where renovations will begin after commencement. Faculty, staff and students who need ODSC services or information will still be able to reach the office at 727-1070 or 727-6016 by e-mail at dhyde@emory.edu or by TDD at 727-1065.

Other offices scheduled to move into the renovated space at the same time as EOP include Institutional Planning and Research, Corporate Relations and the vending area/break room. The Little Store is expected to open the week of May 6.
