The Plug

Employee appalled at drivers speeding through neighborhood

I park off campus. It's a good way to get my exercise in the morning. I park at the very end of Emory Circle. The neighbors recently just put up a huge 4x8 foot sign that reads, "Please respect our children and pets. Drive the speed limit." And I am just appalled. I have been appalled ever since I've been parking off campus and walking in the morning and coming back in the afternoon, that the people at Emory who leave Emory to go home and take that shortcut through the neighborhood drive extremely fast.

I know that these people would hate for others to drive through their neighborhoods as fast as they drive through this neighborhood. I can't believe it.
