Lloyd honored by College Staff Consortium

Lee Ann Lloyd, a secretary in the Institute for Women's Studies, was selected as the Emory College Employee of the Year by the College Staff Consortium. The award was announced and presented by Associate Dean Rosemary Magee at the May 1 luncheon meeting. Honored for her outstanding contributions to the College, Lloyd has worked in the College for 11 years, first in the English department and then in the Institute for Women's Studies. Martine Brownley, chair of Women's Studies, praised Lloyd's ability to "systemize a solution" and to "respond creatively and independently to unexpected developments," as well as her service and leadership in campus activities.
