Research focus of town hall
The Faculty Council and the President's Office are sponsoring a town hall
meeting with President Bill Chace for Emory faculty on Tuesday, Nov. 12,
at 4 p.m. in the third floor ballroom of Cox Hall. The theme of the town
hall is "Research at Emory: Possibilities and Prospects."
A panel of faculty members from diverse disciplines will begin the discussion
by assessing the present situation and future prospects from their individual
perspectives. President Chace will then address the issue of research.
"It is vital at this juncture that the perspectives and the practices
of this research faculty join the conversation about future directions,"
said Faculty Council President Luke Johnson.
