Emory MBA students win case competition
(Left to right) Maisha Herron, Chip Gross, Melanie Burnham and Jeff Murray,
four MBA students from the Goizueta Business School, took first place out
of 28 other business school teams in the annual case competition at the
National Black MBA Association Conference. The team devised an innovative
alternative to the current car-buying process at Chrysler, the competition's
sponsor. Judges from Chrysler, Nationsbank and Proctor and Gamble said the
Goizueta team's solution surpassed those of teams from Wharton, New York
University, Stanford, the University of Michigan and the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, among others.
