Emory MBA students win case competition


(Left to right) Maisha Herron, Chip Gross, Melanie Burnham and Jeff Murray, four MBA students from the Goizueta Business School, took first place out of 28 other business school teams in the annual case competition at the National Black MBA Association Conference. The team devised an innovative alternative to the current car-buying process at Chrysler, the competition's sponsor. Judges from Chrysler, Nationsbank and Proctor and Gamble said the Goizueta team's solution surpassed those of teams from Wharton, New York University, Stanford, the University of Michigan and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, among others.
