June 21 forum features DeKalb CEO candidates

Emory will host a candidate forum on Wednesday, June 21, for individuals seeking the office of DeKalb chief executive officer. The forum will take place at 6 p.m. in Glenn Auditorium, and will be preceded by a 5:30 p.m. reception. Carlos mummies make local TV appearance

Atlanta's WSB-TV, Channel 2, will feature the Carlos Museum's recent Egyptian acquisitions in a one-hour special, "Mystery of the Lost Mummy," to be broadcast June 22 at 8 p.m.

The "Family to Family" special traces the packing of the collection from its former home in Niagara Falls, Canada, to the Carlos. It will also include the most recent scientific analyses currently under way at Emory Hospital and the Center for Molecular Medicine.
