Staff Fest 2000 set for May 19

The 22nd annual Staff Fest, a spring tradition at Emory, will take place on the Quad, May 19. In case of rain, food will be served in the Dobbs Center and games will be held in the P.E. Center.

This year's theme, submitted by Marion Dearing, executive assistant to President Bill Chace, is "Staff@Emory.Community: Gateway to the Future." The theme will appear on official Staff Fest 2000 T-shirts.

The event will kick off with the Fun Run/Fun Walk in Lullwater, starting at 10 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to winners. Other events are planned, including a new rock-climbing wall and an obstacle course. Bring your appetite and Emory ID or Staff Fest lunch ticket.

Volunteers are needed for all shifts and locations. If interested, please respond by May 16. Contact Janice Palmer at 404-727-2243 or register online at http://hr1.hr.emory.edu/ sf2000.nsf. Visit the website to also obtain more information about Staff Fest.
