Law school seeks 'jurors'
The law school's Trial Techniques program is looking for a few good men
and women to serve as jurors for second-year law students honing their courtroom
skills.
Notable lawyers and jurists will serve as judges for the trials, in which
the students will present their cases from start to finish. Jurors will
hear evidence and deliberate on a verdict for either a personal injury or
a murder trial.
Jurors are needed Friday, May 19, and Saturday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m.
until roughly 3 p.m. Parking is available in Lowergate South, and registration
is in Tull Auditorium. Coffee, donuts and bagels will be provided for breakfast,
pizza for lunch.
Anyone interested should contact Janeen Jones at 404-727-6814 or via
