Peavine, water issues take center stage: State Rep. Stephanie Stuckey (D-Decatur) was one of several dozen volunteers who cleaned up Peavine Creek, Saturday, Oct. 14. The trash pickup was the first phase in the creation of Peavine Park, which will reclaim the neglected waterway adjacent to campus behind the CVS pharmacy.
