Identity website online

The Emory Identity Project recently debuted an updated version of its website at www.emory.edu/identity.

The website shows examples of approved versions of identity-compliant wordmarks for individual schools and units as well as the University at large. The site also features school-specific graphics to download for use in publications produced for internal or external audiences.

To ensure the Emory community has access to the principal typeface sanctioned under the new identity system, Uni-versity Publications has put together a CD that contains
(a) the font Sabon for Macintoshs and PCs; (b) a series of downloadable image files tailored to platform; and (c) a series of text files describing in more detail the origins and goals of the new system, as well as compliance deadlines.

For those who want this CD, call Software Distribution and Licensing at 404-727-4741. The cost of the CD is $12.

URC deadline is Feb. 15
Proposals for the spring cycle of University Research Committee grants are due Feb. 15.

Applications are invited from both tenured and nontenured faculty.

The URC is divided into five subcommittees: biological and health sciences, humanities, math and natural sciences, social sciences, and visual and performing arts.

Awards will be made in May. For more information, call 404-727-7503 or visit www.urc.emory.edu.
