Middle Eastern studies announces film series
The Center for Middle Eastern Studies is presenting a four-part, slide-illustrated lecture series titled “The Bible and the Ancient Near East.”

Shalom Goldman, associate professor of Middle Eastern studies, will lead the lectures, held on Thursdays, March 8, March 22 and April 5, in 319-S Callaway. The first lecture—each is a free-standing event—took place Feb. 22.

The series is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring Bible translations of their choice to class. No knowledge of original languages is necessary.

Glenn School clothing sale held March 9–10
The Glenn School for Young Children’s semiannual clothing sale, featuring more than 30,000 high-quality, good condition items for sale, will be held March 9 and 10 outside the school’s building on North Decatur Road.

Parents can find spring and summer clothes for infants through girls size 12 and boys size 14, plus shoes, accessories, strollers, cribs, car seats, maternity and layette items. Average item cost is $3.

Sale times for the event are 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 9—volunteers ask that patrons not bring children to the sale before noon—and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 10, which is half-price day. For more information, visit http://glennclothingsale.tripod.com or call 404-634-6494.

Summer Camp InfoStops
The Emory Well House is hosting a series of Summer Camp InfoStops for parents wondering what to do with their children this summer. Each stop runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and staff will be on hand with information about summer programs for children of all ages. InfoStops will be held:

• March 6, Asbury Court lobby, Emory Hospital.
• March 7, Decatur plaza, Emory Clinic.
• March 14, conference room A, Facilities Management.
• March 19, conference room, Glenn Building, Grady Hospital.
• March 20, Zaban Room, Carter Center.
• March 22, cafeteria lobby, Wesley Woods.
• March 27, cafeteria, Crawford Long.
• April 3, Oxford College (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
• April 4, Coca-Cola Commons, Dobbs Center.
• April 10, accounts payable lobby, Yerkes.
• April 25, main station lobby, Yerkes.
