2002 W-2 forms
now available online
Emory and TALX Corp. are partnering to offer members of the Emory
community an option to receive their W-2 forms online.
Signing up is simple. Visit www.theworknumber.com
and click on “Get a copy of your W-2.” At the next screen,
click on “access your secure account.” To log into your
account enter employer code 11332. At the next screen, enter your
Social Security number followed by your PIN, which is the last four
digits of your Social Security number plus birth month and year.
(For example, if your Social Security number is 414-49-5731 and
your birth date is in July 1971, your PIN would be 57310771).
At the next screen, select “enroll for online W-2 delivery.”
Read the disclosure and complete the consent form. Select “confirm”
when completed.
Your W-2 will be posted on a secure website in late January. You
will receive notification and instructions for retrieval when your
W-2 is available. The deadline to sign up for electronic delivery
of your 2002 W-2 form is Jan. 14, 2003.
The online W-2 form is compatible with TurboTax, TaxCut home software
and H&R Block online tax service.

Celtic Christmas
set for Dec. 13–14 in Glenn
The 10th annual Atlanta Celtic Christmas concert will take place
Dec. 13–14 at 8 p.m. in Glenn Auditorium.
The concert combining music, dance, poetry, stories and song demonstrates
the connection between the Christmas traditions of the Celtic lands
and the American South.
Fiddlers, vocalists, Scottish Highland dancers and Irish stepdancers
are just a few of the artists who will be performing. Guest artists
will include Grammy-nominated musician Norman Blake, British accordion
champion Emma Culbert and Highland piper Robert Watt.
Tickets are available at the Emory box office at 404-727-5050. Advance
ticket prices are $12.50 and $15 at the door. Tickets for children
12 and under are $5. Emory students are admitted free with ID.
Inclement weather reminder
In case of inclement weather, Emory employees are reminded to tune
to local radio and/or TV for weather-related announcements. Employees
may also call 404-727-1234 prior to leaving home to get the official
word on the University's open, delayed opening or closed status
in the event inclement weather affects the Emory area.
