Meetings will discuss benefits

By Michael Terrazas mterraz@emory.edu

Emory’s administration has scheduled a series of meetings this week to address concerns about proposed changes to the University’s employee benefits program.

Last Friday, March 1, the College Executive Committee held an open meeting in White Hall to give background and hear from John Temple, executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Alice Miller, vice president for Human Resources.

This week, at least three meetings have been scheduled and more may be in the works. As of presstime, the scheduled meetings include:

• Monday, March 4, at 4:30 p.m. in 208 White Hall.

• Tuesday, March 5, at 9 a.m. in the Goizueta Business School Auditorium.

• Tuesday, March 5, at 4 p.m. in Tarbutton Hall at Oxford.

The College Executive Committee has set up a public LearnLink conference to provide background information and facilitate discussion of this issue. The conference can be accessed via the web at www.learnlink.emory.edu/collexec/.
