Bond, Keyes analyze 'race' in today's America: Alan Keyes (left) and Julian Bond shared the Glenn Auditorium stage on Feb. 27 to discuss “The State of Race” in America. The Office of International Affairs hosted its second annual International Awards Night on Feb. 19, giving out two awards to individuals who have helped make Emory a more international university. This year’s winners were former Korean ambassador to the United States Hong Koo Lee, ’59C, who took home the inaugural Sheth Distinguished International Alumni Award; and Kenneth Stein, Schatten Professor of Contemporary Middle Eastern History and Israeli Studies, who won the Marion Creekmore Award.
