president Bok to speak Nov. 25
This year’s “In Celebration of Scholarship” lecturer
will be Derek Bok, president emeritus at Harvard and 300th Anniversary
University Professor and Professor of Law, who will speak about
“The Hole in the Curriculum: How Faculties Overlook Important
Educational Needs” on Nov. 25 from 4–6 p.m. in Cox Ballroom.
The event honors the contributions of Emory’s new distinguished

Depression screenings
held Oct. 10 at Wesley Woods
The Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program and the Fuqua Center for
Late-Life Depression are co-hosting the 2002 National Depression
Screening Day (NDSD) on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m.–4
p.m. at the fourth-floor Wesley Woods Health Center.
The event is open to anyone 18 and over, and free clinical screenings
for depressive
and anxiety disorders will be given.
