Prince Albert of Monaco paid a visit to the Emory campus in conjunction with the development of the DeKalb International Training Center. The new program, the brainchild of Marc Daniel Gutekunst, a research associate with Emory's Institute of African Studies, brings potential Olympic athletes to Atlanta and Emory for training and education. The prince, who serves as the program's honorary chair and is an Olympic athlete himself, was in town to survey the facilities, including Emory's Woodruff P.E. Center. Photo by Jon Rou. |
