Videoconference
to explore challenges of diversity
The videoconference, “Diversity Strategies for Today’s
Complex Environ-ment,” will be presented Sept. 25 from 1–3
p.m. in the Emory Hospital Auditorium.
The conference, which will originate from Bowie State University
in Bowie, Md., brings together four experts on diversity for a conversation
about the challenges facing diversity professionals not only on
college campuses but in the public and private sectors as well.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.
The event is free and open to the entire Emory community.

Chairs exhibition
call for submissions
National, regional and local artists—including Emory faculty
and staff—are invited to submit pieces for the Outdoor Chair
Sculpture Exhibition.
The exhibition is the visual component to the semester-long celebration
of the opening of the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. The chairs
will be placed around the campus and the Schwartz Center.
