Used furniture,
supplies at surplus property sale
Surplus property will hold its annual fall clearance sale, Saturday,
Sept. 7, from
9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Its an opportunity for the Emory community to pick up used furniture,
appliances, desk accessories, computer equipment and much more.
Whenever an office or laboratory purchases new equipment or furniture,
the inventory that is replaced is sent to surplus property for storage
or sale.
Surplus property is located at 1762 Clifton Road, Door 12. It is
part of the Human Resources building.
Cash and checks will be accepted (no credit cards). Refreshments
will be served.

Sept. 4, 5, 9, 16, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Human Resources; Sept.
17,
9–11 a.m., WHSCAB Auditorium; Sept. 25, noon–1:30 p.m.,
Business School Auditorium.
• Fidelity:
Sept. 10, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Human Resources;
Sept. 11, 9 a.m.–noon, Human Resources; Sept. 12, 9 a.m.–4:30
p.m., 251 DUC.
• Vanguard:
Sept. 9, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Human Resources; Sept. 10, 9 a.m.–4:30

Human Resources also will be holding its Lunch and Learn brown bag
for new hires and employees who are newly eligible to participate
in Emory’s retirement program. The session will take place
in room 220 of the Dobbs Center, Sept. 23, from noon–1 p.m.
