VE hosts information fair
Volunteer Emory’s 18th annual Fall Volunteer Fair will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9 and Wednesday, Sept.10 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. in the Coca- Cola Commons in the Dobbs Center. EMCF deadline Nov. 1

Three times a year, the Emory Medical Care Foundation (EMCF) offers research grants of up to $25,000 to medical faculty who spend at least half their time in the Grady Health System. Preference is given to faculty members in their first 10 years at Grady.

SAAC taking new memberships

The new Student Activity and Academic Center (SAAC) on the Clairmont Campus now is accepting applications for individual memberships from Emory faculty and staff.

The brand-new facility boasts three outdoor swimming pools; eight tennis courts (including two clay courts); indoor and outdoor volleyball and basketball courts; fitness classes; Cybex strength and conditioning equipment; and meal service at The Grille Works Café.

Annual memberships for individuals cost $300, and family memberships can be purchased for $500. Both memberships include access to the P.E. Center on the main campus.
